Hours of Work: 30 hours a week (8.15 – 2.30 – 4 days per week & 10 – 4.30 1 day per week)

We are looking for a new Admin Assistant to join our busy school office. This role is diverse but will require strong administrative skills and the ability to thrive under pressure whilst working at pace.
You will need to bring a positive mind set and strong inter personal skills as this role will involve meeting the needs of staff, pupils and parents. We will want to you draw on your administrative experience to provide efficient and effective management of systems and communications including social media and website.
You will have a confident use of Microsoft Office, and be able to learn some simple website management with guidance, along with our Management & Finance systems (Arbor & PS Financials). Your spoken and written language will be exemplary and the understanding of the need for confidentiality and careful management of personal data robust.
You will have formal qualifications and as a minimum these will include English and Maths Grade C and above.
Halterworth is part of the University of Winchester Academy Trust. Our five primary schools work closely together to ensure an excellent education for our pupils. As a result, administrative staff are supported by enthusiastic colleagues from across our Trust and receive joint professional support throughout the year. The ability to work as part of a team and independently, to prioritise and to use initiative is essential.
