Halterworth School Association (HSA)

We have a very active Parent Teacher Association called the Halterworth School Association (HSA) which raises thousands of pounds each year to buy equipment and resources to enhance our children’s education. But it is much, much more that just fundraising! The HSA creates closer links between home and school and brings staff, parents and friends together socially in support of the school. And it’s fun!
All parents and members of the school community can get involved if they want to, even if they only have a small amount of time available, and all parents are automatically members of the HSA when they join our school. Not all events are run purely as fundraisers. For example, children’s discos, and seasonal fayres are run with the aim of providing the children and their families with enjoyment and to develop a community spirit.

Previously, the HSA has raised funds to purchase VR headsets and improve the playgrounds for the children. Each year the HSA also make a contribution towards the costs of school trips for each class.
