Halterworth Primary School

Halterworth is a vibrant and welcoming school which works hard to achieve high standards in learning. Through many opportunities to learn creatively and explore imaginative ideas our children are encouraged to think deeply about their learning. Our staff work as a team, continually reviewing progress and exploring new strategies to inspire our young learners. We recognise the importance of capturing the energy and enthusiasm of children at an early age so that they become life long learners who are able to achieve more than they thought possible.

We value good manners and respect for each other. We are proud of the behaviour of our children who are encouraged to express their thoughts and feelings with courtesy and confidence. We want children to develop a wide range of personal qualities – curiosity, self-discipline, courage, honesty, sensitivity, perseverance and independence and to achieve this we provide opportunities to reflect and talk openly about a range of issues both personal and of the wider community.
