Halterworth Reading Committee
Who are we?
As part of our Pupil Voice group, we run a Reading Committee which comes together once a month. The group consists of two children between Years 2 to 6.
What does the Reading Committee do?
The Reading Committee is primarily responsible for creating ‘The Halterworth 100’ – a list of 100 books children should read before leaving school. They are currently in the process of creating a short list of books, based on discussions with their peers. Every child reads a book and then writes a review. Discussions then follow to decide which books should be on the 'Halterworth 100' list.
